Juliana Germani
Juliana Germani moved to Martha's Vineyard in 2015, immersing herself in the life of the Island by writing a bilingual column for the Martha's Vineyard Times about the Island's Brazilian community. For three years, she worked as a Portuguese teacher as a Heritage Language for the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School, serving as a liaison/advocate for Brazilian students and their families. She has since become a clerk for the Edgartown District Court. Juliana's work and play all revolve around advocating for access to education. She believes that empowering people through education is one way to solve most of the world's most divisive issues.
