Jim Swartz, Co-Chair
Jim Swartz is Founder of Accel, a global venture capital firm, former Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association and 2007 recipient of its Lifetime Achievement Award. He is Co-Chairman of the Christian Center of Park City, Director Emeritus of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Foundation, founder of Impact Partners and led the establishment of the YMCA of Martha's Vineyard. Jim is a graduate of Harvard University and Carnegie Mellon University, receiving its inaugural Founders Medal and the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award from its Tepper School of Business. He holds Honorary Doctorate Degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and Western Governors University. Jim is married to the artist Susan Swartz and together they have three children and nine grandchildren.
